32 Nomads and Guests travelled to Tavistock for their 2 day Safari staying at the Bedford Hotel. The weather over the two days was excellent. The first days golf was played at Elfordleigh. A well matured parkland course with plenty of trees and some water. The winning team for the day was Jim Owen,Nigel Dunstan,Roger Hoare and John Hanley. In second place was Jim McKenzie,Gary Faraway,Alan Price and David Dungate. The second days golf was played at Tavistock. The golf course is located on the Dartmoor National Park with excellent views and plenty of gorse and bracken. The winning team of the day was Clive Bicknell,John Bishop,Alan Price and Andrew London. In second place was John Stanforth,Mal Dickinson,David Dungate and Peter Bennett. The overall individual prize was won by Alan Price. In second place was Andrew London and finally in third place was David Dungate.
