40 Nomads and Guests played at Newquay Golf Club in the Annual Christmas Meeting. The format was a Texas Scramble. There was a moderate breeze and relatively warm. Winning the Trophy with an excellent score of 58.0 was Bruce Pow, Clive Matthews, John Bulley and Martin Kaluza. In second place with 59.3 was John Stanforth, Ron Ignaczak, Richie Selwyn and Steve Collins. In third place also with 59.3 was Chris Webber, Gavin Edwards, Martin Uren and Roger Nicholas. Finally, in fourth place with 59.5 was Barry Lumley, Dave Carter, Ian Chambers and John Treslove.
