20 Nomads and Guests signed up for the 19th Annual Safari to Portugal. We left on the 28th April flying from Newquay to Faro, returning on the 6th May. The group were based at The Pestana Blue Alvor Hotel. The weather was warm and sunny and fortunately we escaped the heavy downfalls of rain. The four days golf was played at Alto Golf Course and Gramacho Golf Course. Alto Golf Course was one of the last courses designed by Sir Henry Cotton in the Algarve. An excellent parkland course with undulating terrain and winding fairways making each hole a new challenge.

Gramacho Golf Course is a cleverly designed parkland course with difficult undulating terrain a real challenge for any level of golfer.
