Annual Safari 2023
20 Nomads and Guests signed up for the 17th Annual Safari to Portugal. We left on the 2nd May flying from Newquay to Faro, returning on the 7th May. The group were based at The Salgados Palm Village. The weather was absolutely glorious over the period of time we were there. The three days golf was played at Salgados golf course which has plenty of water hazards and a multitude of palm trees.
Results were as follows:
Day One: (Secret pairs)

2nd. Clive Bicknell & Dave Carter 58pts.
3rd. Nigel Dunstan & Ryszard Zolkiewicz 56 pts.
Day Two: (Texas Scramble)
Winners: Barry Lumley, Jim McKenzie, John Stanforth, Richie Selwyn, 59.1.
2nd. Adrian Roberts, Jon Allen, Nigel Dunstan, Ryszard Zolkiewicz, 62.4.
Day Three: (Four Ball Better Ball)
Winners: Martin Kaluza & Ryszard 39 pts.
2nd. Jim Mckenzie & Mike Martin 39 pts.
